The April of 2002 Saw the Launch of a Monthly Electronic Journal, 'Media-Education'.

The journal started  on the initiative of the Institute of Ecology of Mass Communication (Ivan Franko National University in L'viv) with the support from the Soros Renaissance Foundation and is to be the first publication of its kind promoting media education in Ukraine. A similar publication in this field is American 'Media & Values'. Some others are in Germany, Great Britain and France.
