Preliminary Program

The Program Committee of the conference has composed a preliminary version of the Program of the second (Topological) part of the conference. We ask the participants to check the Program and fill this Confirmation Form at you earliest convenience in order to confirm their participation and indicate their preferable tools for presentation of their talks. After obtaining the Confirmation Forms we shall compose the final version of the Program trying to meet the suggestions of the participants.

The price for Mini-Bus connection in Lviv is 1.5 UAH which should be paid to the driver at the entrace of a bus. A ticket for Trolley-bus and Tram costs 0.75 UAH and should be bought from a conductor inside (the ticket should be punched by a special tool that is usually situated between the windows).
To move around in Lviv it is also possible (and convenient) to take a Radio Taxi which can be ordered by one of the phone numbers: 086, 083, 059, 000, 005. The price for Radio Taxi is 15 UAH for the first 5 km and then 3UAH for each additional km.

Money Exchange

There are many places for Money Exchange in the Center of Lviv. The exchange rate in such places oscilates near that established by the National Bank.
It is possible to use Credits Cards (Visa, Master, etc.) to take cash in ATM (called Bankomats) but it is not recommended to use Credit Cards as a payment tool.

Bus Przemysl-Lviv

We inform the participants arriving to Lviv from (or through) Poland that there is a cheap bus Przemysl-Lviv that costs 20 Zl, departing from Przemysl and arriving to the Lviv Central Railway Station, see here for more details.

However the cheapest (and usually the quickest but sometimes too extreme) way is to cross the Polish-Ukrainian border in Medyka on foot. For this one should take a minibus (for 2 Zl) departing each 15-30 min from Przemysl to Medyka (the distance is 12 km), then cross the border on foot and finally take a minibus to Lviv on the Ukrainian side. The minibus Shegyni-Lviv departs each 30-40 min, arrives to the Lviv Central Railway Station, costs 15 UAH, and covers the distance 80 km to Lviv for 1 hour 40 min.

Arrival Information and Picking up

The Organizing Committee asks the participants to fill this Arrival Form providing us with the necessary information for picking up the participants at the Stations.

Registration Procedure

The Registration of the participants will be held on 2 June (Monday) during 1500–1800 in the Hall of the University and simulateously in the Hotel "Helikon", and also the next day, 3 June (Thuesday), during 900–1100 in the Hall of the University.

Books of VNTL Publishers

At the Registration desk it will be possible to buy mathematical books published by VNTL Publishers.

Culture Program

At the Registration it will be possible to order tickets for the Opera "Moses", the latest masterpiece of the Lviv Theatre of Opera and Ballet. The opera is scheduled on 3 June, 1800–2030. The prices for tickets vary from 15 till 100 UAH. More-or-less good places cost 45-60 UAH.

Welcome Party and Banquet

The Welcome Party (scheduled on Monday, 2 June) and the Banquet (scheduled on Friday, 6 June) will start at 19:00 in the Restaurant of the hotel "Helikon" (Kulparkivska street, 230). Those days, the Conference Bus will depart at 18:30 from the Main Building of the University to the hotel "Helikon".

Total Expences

The registration fee is 70 Eu and covers: Welcome Party, Conference Materials, Coffee Breaks, and Walking Excursion (on Wednesday). For accompanying persons the registration fee is reduced to 30 Eu. The Banquet (on Friday) and Bus Excursion (on Saturday) will additionally cost respectively 20 Eu and 10Eu per person.

Для учасників із країн колишнього Радянського Союзу реєстраційний внесок скорочено до 100 гривень, а оплата за бенкет та автобусну екскурсію -- до 100 та 50 гривень, відповідно.
