Dear Colleagues,

We are glad to inform you that the conference
"Analysis. Lviv-2008" in the frame of the conference "Analysis and Topology. Lviv-2008"
will take place in Lviv (Ukraine), May 26-31, 2008.



The main organizers of the conference are the Lviv Mathematical Society and
Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, National University "Lvivs'ka Polytekhnika".

Opening ceremony will be held in the University Assembly Hall,
Universytets'ka 1, at 9.30 a.m., May 27.

DEPARTURE: The conference finishes on Saturday, May 31.

Connection:

From the railway station to the University

tram No 1 (Main Post Office, Doroshenka str.)

From the bus station "Stryiskyi avtovokzal" to the University

bus-taxi No 71 (Center).

REGISTRATION:

The registration is to be at Hall in the main building of the University,
Universytets'ka 1 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m on May 26,
and from 9 a.m. to 14 a.m. on May 27.

Conference fee is 100 UAH for participants from FSU, and 70 Eu for other
participants, and to be paid upon arrival.
Students have 50% discount.

In particular, this includes Welcome Party which will take place Tuesday, May 27,
6.00 pm in the University cafe.

The program of the Conference consists of plenary and sectional
lectures. The duration of lecture will be 30-45 minutes (plenary) and
15 or 25 minutes (sectional).

As we have lots of participants, poster sessions will also be
organized.

Abstracts of the talks will be published before the beginning of
the conference.

Please note that most foreigners need a visa to visit Ukraine.

ACCOMODATION:

Organizing Committee has booked a limited number of rooms in the University Hostel


USD 52 = UAH 260 for two person in a 2-bed room,
USD 42 = UAH 210 for a person in a 1-bed room
(a breakfast is not included).

Student hostel No 1 (Pryrodna str., 20): 40-45 UAH for a person in 2- or 3-bed room.
No 2 : 50 UAH for a person in 2- or 3-bed room.

TRAVEL:

By plain:
There is regular air connection between Lviv and
Kyiv (http://www.boryspil-airport.kiev.ua),
Warsaw (http://www.lotnisko-chopina.pl/?lang-en), and Frankfurt.
Consider these cities as transit points when looking for
air connection. Please take into account that Lviv and Kyiv may be
spelt as Lvov (Lwow) and Kiev.

By train:
There is direct train connection with Budapest, Prague, Bratislava,
Warsaw and all major cities of the former Soviet Union. There are
several convenient night trains between Lviv and Kyiv.

By bus:
There are lots of bus routes between Lviv and all major European
cities. Consult your local travel agency to find the best connection.



Please inform us when you plan arrive and to depart
and your preferences of apartments as soon as it is possible.
