The data of detailed study of morphology and chemical composition of native copper and native lead from polymetallic ore mineralization of Kurchytsi (Volyn’ megablock, Ukrainian shield) are given. The results allow defining more accurately the origin of
these minerals, as well as confirming the hypothesis about restore processes of minerogenesis under metamorphism of carbon rocks and formation of native copper and native lead by means of their primary sulfides transformation.

NOBLE METALS IN CARBON-BEARING ROCKS OF PRIMORYE
Far East Geological Institute, Far Eastern Branch of RAS

E-mail: director@fegi.ru
The Khanka crystalline massif (Primorye) has been studied for gold and platinum content in graphite-bearing rocks. Chemical analysis of leucocratic granite-gneiss, gabbroamphibolite, biotite-feldspar-graphite and garnet-biotite-feldspar slates, which have undergone regional graphitization, showed a high carbon content up to 29–36 mas. %. Gold (3–30 g/t) and platinum (4–52 g/t) contents of economic interest were measured in all abovementioned varieties. The isotopic composition of the carbon analyzed in 8 samples was found to be unusually uniform (13CPDB = (–8,5)–(–8,7) ‰) which proves its mantle source. The obtained data suggest genetic correlation of gold-platinoid mineralization with regional graphitization, occured widely in the Middle-Riphean metamorphic complexes, which are located between the rivers of Kabarga, Tamga, and Kedrovka.

GOLD IN THE MESOZOIC-CENOZOIC
BURIAL ALLUVIAL DEPOSITS OF THE UKRAINIAN SHIELD
Institute of Geological Sciences of NASU
Olesya Honchara St. 55b, UA – 01601 Kyiv, Ukraine
The crusts of weathering of the Ukrainian shield basement crystalline rocks have been spatially and paragenetically connected with burial fluvial valleys. It gives the possibility to evolve the general evolutional-genetic series the crusts of weathering–the alluvial deposits. Alluvial sedimentogenesis has been closely connected with scouring and redeposition of chemical crusts of weathering. It caused the native gold considerable concentrations forming in lithofacial and environmental conditions, which were not typical for
classical alluvial placers. The heredity of more juvenile surface-stream flows of old drainage is typifies for burial fluvial paleovalleys. It caused stratigraphic transition of alluvium material and native gold.

Samples of quartz veins from the Ìuzhiyeve deposit have been investigated. According to the description of the veins and microscopic supervision of the veined quartz samples, quartz has been formed from silica gel. The method of infrared spectroscopy gave the possibility to discover inclusions of the silica gel, which contain water. It has been proved that formation of quartz had occurred owing to recrystallisation of originally precipitated amorphous silica gel.

The results of crystallomorphologycal investigations of topaz from the Volyn’ chamber (“zanorysh”) pegmatites are given. Crystals from chamber areas have the richest facing. In the [001] zone, faces {110} and {120} are developed on all the crystals; faces {230}, {130}, {100}, {470}, {010} are met more rarely. On the crystals heads, faces {001}, {011}, {021}, {023}, {012}, {101}, {103}, {201}, {111}, {112}, {113}, {114}, {225}, {121}, {131} are found. framework with forming of bassanite (semi-hydrate), then bassanite is substituted by anhydrite. Gypsum dehydration depends not only on temperature but also on water solutions and time of heating; the role of pressure is minor.

New terrigenous mineralogical province in the sandy deposits of the Nobel Lake (the north-western corner of the Rivne region on the border with Volyn’ region and Byelorussia) has been distinguished. This province differs from the other terrigenous mineralogical provinces of the Shatsk region by lower content of ilmenite and leucoxene. Their place is occupied by cordierite, which was met in the Polissya sandy deposits for the first time. Mineral association is presented be such minerals, %: garnets (40,0), cordierite (24,4), topaz (12,6), tourmaline (4,8), zircon (4,2), staurolite (2,2), sillimanite (1,6– 0,20), epidote (1,0), clinozoisite (1,0), kyanite (0,8), rutile (0,3), andalusite (0,2), corundum (0,2), hornblende (0,5), chromite (single grains) and fragments of the altered rocks (6,0). The red garnets tinged with violet are very similar to the pyropes from Yakutian kimberlites.
The lake Nobel is in 20 km from the village of Kuhots’ka Volya, near which in 70th years of the XX century the fragments of kimberlites have been found in drill core; also the geologists of Rivne geological expedition have found fine diamonds in alluvial deposits of the Stokhid River, in 10 km on west from the Nobel Lake. The ecological-geological system is the subject of ecological geology, especially lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere, which are under direct and indirect pressure of the human technogenic activity. Lithosphere should be considered as one of the basic
components of the environment. This is a new scientific direction in the Earth’s sciences, which combines all knowledge about ecological problems of environment and geological environment. Ecological-geological mapping is the new actual complex of geologicprospecting works. It is carried out for allocation and typifying of relief and landscapes, for estimation of background lithologic and geochemical characteristics, allocation and estimation of technogenic sedimentation, ecological-geological zoning. Monitoring is the multipurpose informational system, which includes data gathering by supervision, analysis of the results, valuation of the environmental conditions, forecasting of its development and elaboration of recommendations about preventive measures to support metastable state of the environment in the region.
