Populations self-recruitment under the different conditions of their growth

It has been done an attempt to reveal the mechanisms of population self-recruitment, it was pointed out the different meaning of terms self-recruitment and self-maintenance. It was made a conclusion that long-term existence (several generations) of the population on concrete area is ensured by its four fundamental features: self-recruitment, strategy, persistence and stability.
