Microbiological analysis of city drinking water samples has revealed that it meets the requirements of GOST and is good for usage. Index of total bacteria was in normal ranges, coliform index in 6 samples of 8 was higher than upper limit in 3–14 times in samples of city water from dead-end water pumps. Chemical analysis shows that such indexes as pH value, concentrations of iron compounds, chlorides, free residual chlorine, ammonia, nitrites and nitrates were normal in samples, taken in control points. Mean annual value of total hardness of water in kontrol points “Miska smuga” and “Budzen-3” was 5% higher, in control points “Syhiv” and “Zboisk” was approximately 10% higher, in control points “Vynnyky”, “Dovga”, “Kryvchytsi (nova)” and “Kryvchytsi (stara)” around 21,5% higher than upper limit.
